Wedding Ideas
This is an actual picture of my wedding centerpiece I created!
Feeling a bit creative? I was and therefore created Nautical Wedding Invitations and
a very unique wedding centerpiece.
Since my husband's favorite color is green and mine is red I incorporated the two to make this very interesting centerpiece. The vase was filled with clear water beads and a green light was inserted to give it a dreamy lighted effect. Then I added feathers and one single red rose for the final touch. The total cost for each completed vase was under $25.00!
Many guest were interested in the creation and unique look which they have never seen before. It was a hit!

Directly below is the actual video I watched on you tube which inspired me to create my own unique centerpiece. Although the candy topper in the video was a cool and unique wedding idea I wanted something a little different which is why I used feathers and one single rose instead for many reasons. One being that with the candy topper she glues it on, which wouldn't work for me because all battery operated lights have limited life and that would mean that I would have to it on the morning of my wedding!!!
So with that being said I needed to come up with an idea so that the lights can be easily switched on when delivered to the tables. Word of advice though, if you are using water beads instead of plastic clear diamond beads, they can become very heavy if you're putting them in a large and tall vase. This I found out unfortunately the day of my wedding when they came to pick up all the centerpieces and had a hard time carrying them. If I thought that through I would have opted for the light clear plastic diamond confetti beads for sure.
However if your vase is not that big then water beads will work just fine!

The below you tube video has some other creative ideas for favors that don't seem that expensive if you like.
Above was just a few wedding ideas that you can work with and customize to your specific tastes.
Shop around to find the best prices for your budget because if your having a large ceremony you may want to consider contacting a wholesale distributor and buy in bulk to save.
But if your like me and you want to save even more then perhaps try eBay to see if anyone is selling that item at auction.
That is where I went to get my feathers because this item can get very pricey. Surprisingly more than not I found many people auctioning off these feathers for my centerpiece. I'm guessing that they were merchants themselves trying to get rid of some inventory, not sure, but either way it was a steal for me!
Happy shopping and thanks for stopping by Nautical Wedding Invitations wedding ideas, a place where you can customize and create your own card for your very special wedding day.
